Captain Lancelot Arthur Wetherell Spooner, O.B.E., R.N. (? – 2 September, 1969) Married to Eileen M.A. Spooner, d. 9 June, 1973 in Auckland, N.Z. Father of Derek and Ronald. Died in Hove, Sussex.

He acted as Gunnery Officer in the monitor Abercrombie.

Awarded the O.B.E. in the King's Birthday Honours of 23 June, 1936 while serving with the Royal Australian Navy.
