Captain (retired) Roden Henry Victor Buxton, C.B.E. (17 December, 1890 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of F. F. V. Buxton, Esq., J.P. for Essex.[1]
Buxton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1913.[2]
Buxton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1921.[3]
Buxton was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1927.[4]
World War II
Buxton was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain on 17 December, 1940. In 1942, he was decorated in recognition of his service to the Polish Navy.[5]
He reverted to the Retired List on 31 July, 1947.[6]
