Lieutenant David Kemble Wood, Royal Navy (21 July, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Davington Hill the son of Reverend W. M. Wood.

Wood was appointed to the battleship Magnificent upon passing out of Britannia on 15 September 1904. He served in her until she paid off in November, 1906.

On 8 December 1908,[Fact Check] he was admitted to Haslar Hospital with an ingrown toenail.

Wood was appointed to the battlecruiser New Zealand on 10 August, 1909.

Wood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1910.

His name was removed from the Navy List on 12 July 1911 for desertion, having left New Zealand at some earlier point.
