Lieutenant-Commander John White, R.N. (24 July, 1879 – 23 October, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of another John White, gentleman, was born in Brixton.

White was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 26 June, 1902.

White was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 26 June, 1910.

White was first lieutenant in the battleship Africa in the early part of the war.

White was killed when Genista was lost on 23 October, 1916.[1]
