Rear-Admiral THE HONOURABLE Victor Alexander Montagu, (20 April, 1841 – 30 January, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Montagu was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 18 July, 1860.

Montagu was promoted to the rank of Commander on 14 September, 1867.

Montagu was promoted to the rank of Captain on 24 February, 1877.

Montagu was placed on the Retired List as physically unfit on 14 January, 1885 and was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 24 February, 1892.
