H.M.A.S. Australia was one of seven Kent Class cruisers completed in the late 1920s. She served in the Royal Australian Navy.

Service

Australia was commissioned at Clydebank on 24 April, 1928.[6]

She was re-commissioned at Sydney on 1 January, 1932.[7]
