Life & Career
Hignett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 19 January, 1912.
Demobilised on 1 November, 1919, Hignett was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 19 January, 1920.
Hignett was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 19 January, 1922.
