Commander (retired) Basil Theodore Brewster, D.S.C. (31 December, 1896 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve and the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Brewster was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 August, 1919.[1]
Brewster was awarded the Royal Humane Society's Bronze Medal for saving life on 8 July, 1920. A Greek decoration was also made for this deed.[2]
Brewster was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 August, 1927.[3]
World War II
Brewster was promoted to the rank of Commander on 8 May, 1946.[4]
