Commander R.N.R. (retired) Alfred Harvey Denholm Young, R.D. (23 September, 1879 – September, 1941) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Born in Birkenhead, Cheshire.

Young was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 26 October, 1911.[1]

Young was demobilised on 30 June, 1919 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 26 October, 1919.[2]

Young was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 23 September, 1924.[3]
