Commander Russell Stanhope Brookes, D.S.C., D.S.O. ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Brookes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 19 March, 1935.[1]
Brookes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 19 March, 1943.[2]
Brookes was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1948. He retired on 1 February, 1960.[3]
