Craufurd's First Lieutenant and Gunnery officer from July, 1918 was Lieutenant Frank Henderson Pegram.

On 8 August 1918, Gorgon collided with General Craufurd. Captain Scott of Gorgon was subjected to a Court of Enquiry, but no undue fallout affected him, however, and he remained in command of the monitor until 30 July, 1919.[7]

The monitor paid off at Chatham on 17 May, 1920.[8]
