H.M.S. Tartar was one of eight Archer Class torpedo cruisers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Sheerness on 30 June, 1891.[6]
She was one of twelve obsolete vessels sold at auction at Chatham Dockyard on 3 April, 1906. She fetched £5,450.[7]
