H.M.S. Bacchante (1876)

H.M.S. Bacchante was one of three Bacchante Class corvettes completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Portsmouth 14 April, 1885.[5]

In February, 1888, she was flagship on the East Indies Station, bearing the Commander-in-Chief, Rear-Admiral Frederick W. Richards.[6]
