Lieutenant-Commander Edgar Christopher Cookson, D.S.O., V.C. (13 December, 1883 – 28 September, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Cookson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1905.

Appointed to Clio as first officer in September, 1912.

Cookson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1913.

Cookson was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross.
