Commander (retired) Ernest Freke Brickdale, (15 March, 1844 – 6 June, 1897) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Brickdale joined hte school ship Illustrious but moved to the new H.M.S. Britannia when she opened in 1859.
Brickdale was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 January, 1867.
Brickdale was retired on account of age with the rank of Commander on 18 March, 1889.
