John H. Dialogue & Son was an American shipbuilder.

History

In 1862, Dialogue founded the Camden National Iron Armor and Shipbuilding Company, but it did not last long. In 1870, he founded River Iron Works, which presently was renamed John H. Dialogue & Son upon the death of his partner. In 1872, the yard helped restore U.S.S. Constitution.

Dialogue's son continued running the company after his death in 1898, but bankruptcy forced the company's closure in 1913.
