H.M.S. Cornwallis was one of six Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleships completed for the Royal Navy in 1903 and 1904.

Service

Cornwallis arrived at Portsmouth from Chatham on 16 August, 1903 to start her gun mounting trials.[9]

She recommissioned at Devonport on 13 August, 1912. In mid-1913, she was serving with the Fourth Battle Squadron.[10]
