Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Type M Renouf Torpedo Tactical Instrument was conceived around 1919 and in 1920 a pair were planned for manufacture so they might be tried.
Concept and Design
The device's function is explained in the Annual Report of the Torpedo School, 1919.[2]
A full description was being promised for a forthcoming edition of the Handbook of Torpedo Control.[3]
By 1921, only two had been issued, one each to Queen Elizabeth and Barham.[4]
