Henry Frederick Nicholson

Admiral SIR Henry Frederick Nicholson, K.C.B., Royal Navy (24 October, 1835 – 17 October, 1914) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
He was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Third Class, or Companion, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 14 August.[1]
In the Queen's Diamond Jubilee honours, Nicholson was appointed an Additional Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 22 June, 1897.[2] He was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 16 September vice Baird.[3]
