H.M.S. Walrus was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Walrus was commissioned on 5 February, 1918.[9]

She was re-commissioned at Devonport on 6 June, 1924 to serve with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[10]

She was re-commissioned at the Nore on 5 April, 1927 to serve with the First Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[11]
