Lieutenant Gilbert Elliot Harrison, (6 August, 1851 – 3 September, 1889) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Harrison was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 2 July, 1875.
He was awarded the Egyptian Medal in 1882.
Harrison died at Easington Rectory in Durham from the effects of a fever he'd contracted on service on the Mediterranean coast of Africa while in command of the gunboat Bramble.
