Lieutenant-Commander (Emergency) Arthur Harry Polhill, R.N. (2 September, 1891 – 6 April, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Polhill was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 March, 1916.
On 10 October 1917, Polhill was Court Martialed for negligence, and pleaded guilty.
On 25 June, 1918, Polhill was dismissed command of Ness, forfeited two years seniority and severely reprimanded following a Court Martial for being drunk on board, to which he'd again pleaded guilty.
On 9 June 1921, he resigned and was placed on the Emergency List. Polhill was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on the Emergency List on 30 March, 1924.
