Admiral SIR Herbert Edward Purey-Cust, K.B.E., C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (26 February, 1857 – 11 November, 1938) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Purey-Cust was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1894.[1]
Captain
Purey-Cust was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1900.[2]
Purey-Cust was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 24 October, 1915.[3] He was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 1 January, 1919.[4]
