H.M.S. Wessex was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Recommissioned on 31 August, 1918.[8]

She re-commissioned with two-fifths crew at Chatham on 13 May, 1922.[9]
