H.M.S. Monarch was a masted turret ship that served in the Royal Navy from the 1870s until being broken up in 1905.

She was the first British sea-going ship to use turrets, and also the first ship to carry 12-in guns.

Monarch was made into a depot ship under the new name of Simoon in the early 1900s.
