Life & Career
Buchanan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 July, 1902.[1]
Buchanan was appointed in command of the destroyer Leopard on 10 July, 1907.[2]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Hydra on 23 May, 1912.[3]
