Henry Harvey Bruce

Admiral SIR Henry Harvey Bruce, K.C.B., M.V.O., Royal Navy, Retired (8 May, 1862 – 14 September, 1948) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Bruce took up the appointment as Superintendent of Rosyth Dockyard on 1 June, 1915.[1] He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 27 April, 1917.[2]

Bruce was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 1 May, 1922, in place of Sir Thomas Sheppard, placed on the Retired List.[3]
