James Denham Douglas Stewart ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.

Life & Career

As a Commander, Stewart was appointed in command of the Magnificent on 29 July, 1913.[1] Stewart was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Royal Arthur in December 1915.

He was promoted to Captain on 30 June 1918.

In February 1921, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Cambrian.
