Aubrey Thomas Tillard ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy who was to hold a considerable number of seagoing command positions.

Life & Career

Tillard was appointed in command of the destroyer Larne on 28 January, 1911.[1]

Tillard commanded the destroyer Firedrake after Alfred B. Watts, some time after mid-1914 and prior to late 1917.[2]

Post-war

Tillard was appointed in command of the flotilla leader Valentine on 17 January, 1919.[3]

He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Castor in August, 1922.[4]

In April, 1928, Tillard was appointed in command of the light cruiser Carysfort.[5]

Tillard was appointed in command of the battleship Centurion on November, 1929.[6]
