U.S.S. Frolic was an armed yacht purchased by the U.S. Navy in 1898 for service in the Spanish-American War.

Construction

Launched by the Globe Iron Works of Cleveland, Ohio as the Comanche.[7]

Service

Transferred to the War Department at Cavite on 21 May, 1909, becoming the water boat El Aguila. Sold into civilian use in 1923, probably becoming the merchant ship Chuanchiu.[8]
