U.S.S. Pompey (1898)

U.S.S. Pompey was a collier purchased by the U.S. Navy in 1898 that later served as a torpedo boat depot ship and a supply ship.

Service

Renamed Samal in 1931 and sunk by Japanese aircraft in the Philippines during December 1941.[1]
