Seawolf Class Submarine (1913)

Three Seawolf class submarines were completed for the U.S. Navy in 1913-14. On 17 November, 1911, they would be redesignated the "h" class and given names H-1 through H-3, not to be confused with American-built submarines of Britain's "H" class of 1915.

In 1918, a further six units that had been under construction for Russia were taken over and completed for American service.
