Life & Career
Blake was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 4 April, 1907.[1]
Blake was appointed in command of the destroyer Porcupine on 13 January, 1914.[2]
As a Lieutenant-Commander, Blake commanded the destroyer Termagant on temporary assignment with the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.[3]
