Two Talbot class torpedo boats were completed for the U.S. Navy in April, 1898.

Construction

These boats were incredibly small, being about one third the displacement of the Davis class boats ordered at the same time.

Armament

  • one 1-pdr gun
  • two 18-in torpedo tubes on centreline
