Jump to navigationJump to searchVice-Admiral Ralph Eliot, C.B.E., Royal Navy, (13 January, 1881 – 20 December, 1958) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Eliot was appointed in command of H.M.S. Hercules on 15 May, 1920.[1]
In January 1925, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Cleopatra.[2]
Eliot was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 9 October, 1929, vice Oliver Backhouse, promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral. He was placed on the retired List on 10 October.[3]
