Commander Beauchamp Arbuthnot Francis, R.N., Retired (24 May, 1886 – 2 September, 1961) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
His father had been a captain in the British Army.
Francis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1908.
Francis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 39 June, 1916.
Post-War
Francis was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 31 May, 1927.
World War II
Death
Francis died at Osborne House, Isle of Wight, on 2 September 1961.[1]
