John Graham Muriel McHardy

Commander John Graham Muriel McHardy, (28 October, 1878 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Cdr. W. McHardy was born in Hamilton, N.B..

McHardy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1900.

McHardy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1908. Among his last seagoing appointments, he was gunnery officer in the battlecruiser Inflexible from late 1908 to mid-1910.

McHardy was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 12 March, 1912. While retired, he would fulfill a number of inspectional roles for the Navy.

McHardy was promoted to the rank of Commander on the Retired List on 25 October, 1918.
