Simmers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 July, 1938.[1]
World War II
Simmers was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 July, 1946.[2]
He retired on 1 July, 1950.[3]
