Commander Charles Edward Aglionby, R.N., Retired (26 June, 1882 – ) served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Canadian Navy.
Life & Career
On 21 July, 1910, Aglionby was appointed to Niobe, shortly before she was to be transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy. Though he was retired, he would stay in her through the transition, assuming W/T duties and eventually become her temporary captain upon the departure of Captain William Balfour Macdonald some time between July and October, 1913.
