Life & Career
In March, 1911, Brooke was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 066.[1]
Brooke was appointed in command of the destroyer Sprightly on 7 April, 1914.[2]
Brooke was captain of the destroyer Lizard at the Battle of Jutland, where she operated as part of the First Destroyer Flotilla.[3]
Brooke survived the loss of the submarine Strongbow under his command on 17 October, 1917.[4]
