H.M.S. Senator was one of 67 destroyers of the "S" class.

Service

At some point in 1918, a torpedo ran hot in its tube when testing firing gear. The vibration caused the warhead and pistol to fall onto the deck![5]

She recommissioned at Devonport on 21 May, 1919.[6]
