In May, 1917, she moved over to join the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla, operating out of Devonport.

In January, 1919, the 4th was disbanded, and Lookout was sent to join a group of destroyers in Reserve at the Nore.[7]

She reduced to a C. & M. Party at the Nore on 26 December, 1919.[8]
