Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. Thomas Maitland Winslow, R.D. (21 December, 1872 – 13 December, 1917) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Winslow was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 11 December, 1906.[1]
Winslow was appointed to the armed merchant cruiser Empress of Britain on 19 August, 1914 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 11 December, 1914.[2]
He served in the armed merchant cruiser Patuca from 26 May 1915 to 28 January, 1917.[3]
Winslow died when his command, the armed boarding steamer Stephen Furness, was torpedoed by UB 64.[4]
