Lieutenant-Commander R.N.V.R. Robert Clifford Primrose ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.
Life & Career
Primrose was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.V.R. on 2 January, 1911.[1]
Primrose was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.V.R. on 24 December, 1914.[2]
On 12 May 1915, he was admitted to hospital in the Dardanelles, having been shot in right shoulder, from the back. He was sent home, and admitted to Haslar on 21 June. He was found fit on 22 July, 1915.[3]
Primrose was appointed in command of the gunboat Scarab in May, 1917.[4]
He may have resided at 199 Bath Street, Glasgow.
