U.S.S. Truxtun was one of three Truxtun class destroyers completed for the U.S. Navy.
Service
Truxtun was commissioned on 11 September, 1902 with Lieutenant Archibald H. Davis in command.
In early 1904, she was one of six destroyers in the Second Torpedo Flotilla.[7]
