Commander (retired) Guy Christopher Harris, O.B.E. (7 November, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Harris was a Special Entry to the Royal Navy, entering the Training Establishment on 15 September, 1916 and passing out on 15 February, 1917. He served in Temeraire from 2 March 1917 to 14 October, 1918 when he was sent to Vernon for a one week Torpedo Control Course.[1]

Harris was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1919.[2]

Harris was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1927.[3]

World War II

Harris was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 7 November, 1943.[4]

He reverted to the Retired List on 5 March, 1946.[5]
