S.M.S. Friedrich Carl was one of two Prinz Adalbert class armoured cruisers built for the Imperial German Navy in the early 1900s.
Service
On 1 April 1905, the British battleship H.M.S. Prince George collided with Friedrich Carl near Gibraltar.[6][7]
