Captain (retired) Henry Arthur Phillipps, R.N. (19 June, 1856 – 19 January, 1937) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Phillipps was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1882.
Phillipps was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1895.
Appointed in command of the composite paddle vessel Sphinx from 18 October 1898 to 29 October, 1901.
Phillipps was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 23 August, 1902.
Served as D.N.T.O. Devonport from 28 December 1915 through 5 December 1916.
