Lieutenant-Commander George Jeans, R.N. (20 August, 1859 – 19 November, 1937) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jeans was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 20 November, 1888.

Jeans was specially promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 20 November, 1903 for services in Benin.

Jeans was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 August, 1909.

Jeans was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 20 August, 1917. He retired on 20 April, 1919.
