Captain Charles Edward Beeby Colbeck, O.B.E.(m), R.N., Retired (22 April, 1872 – 25 February, 1951) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of J. W. Colbeck, M.D..
Colbeck was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on
Colbeck was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on
Colbeck was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 22 April, 1912.
Reverted to Retired List on 8 December, 1915.
Colbeck was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) in recognition of his war service on 11 November, 1918.
Colbeck died of senility, arterio sclerosis and myocardial degeneration in 1951.
